Last Friday
DownByTheHipster reported that Pink Elephant had filed for bankruptcy along with Mansion.

We asked around to find out if this would affect Pink Southampton. An EastEnder laid it out like this:
Pink Manhattan sub-leases from Bruce Dunston. Bruce Dunston filed for bankruptcy, not Pink. We are told that Pink won't be affected. Pink South is a separate business altogether and is even further removed from the problem.
So Pink isn't in bankruptcy, but it would seem that if the lease holder is in bankruptcy, then worst case the sub-lessees aren't kicking enough money upstairs. Best case, the venue (along with the cabaret license that came with the building) is in danger.
Buying out the Capri and the other 2 hotels is in the HRH Group seems like a bad prospect when the primary venue is on shaky ground. Then again, Pink Elephant is a brand that has managed to move uptown and out east. Another move shouldn't be a problem.
